A mild mandelic acid is used in this very mild treatment. Derived from bitter almonds, mandelic acid is more gentle on the skin compared to other AHAs. This makes it an ideal choice for those with sensitive skin.
This gentleness seems to be due to mandelic acid being one of the largest AHAs, and as a result, it penetrates the skin at a slower rate. This makes it less irritating on the skin.

This treatment starts with a deep cleanse, followed by a facial exam, and extractions on clogged pores. After a deep cleanse and extractions, the mandelic acid will be applied, left on for approximately 3 to 5 minutes and removed with cool towels.
